Don Wotruba

Don Wotruba has worked for the Michigan Association of School Boards for 24 years. Currently he serves as the executive director, but spent 18 years as the lobbyist representing public school boards across Michigan. He also worked as a legislative assistant for Representative Paul Tesanovich in the 110th district in the Western Upper Peninsula. Don and his wife Laura both graduated from Carney-Nadeau High School in Menominee County, before heading off to Western Michigan University. They still have a place in the UP and visit often.
