New Survey Shows Diversity of NMU’s Student Veterans

A new study published by NMU senior and U.S. Army veteran Ryan McChesney illustrates the diversity among 23 student veterans at the university. These students participated in an online survey that asked what branch they served in, where they served, how long they served, where they are originally from, what they are studying, and the time period for their service.

“The diverse demographics of NMU’s student veterans are clearly apparent. They have come from all over, served in different branches, served in different time periods and places, and are currently studying an array of subject areas–adding to the already-diverse demographics of NMU.”
